Condition: Excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks. Some minor paint/gold loss consistent with age.
Details: This small rose bowl has a scalloped lip, painted gold. The body is decorated with alternating gold enameled cartouches. Small glass "jewels" are applied to the center of each. Bohemia, currently a part of the Czech Republic, became famous for its beautiful and colorful glass during the Renaissance. The history of Bohemian glass started with the abundant natural resources found in the region.
