Details: The Longpark Pottery Terra Cotta China Works began in 1883 in Torquay of Devon, England. The owners, Critchlow, Ridley, and Taylor found themselves producing mainly terracotta items and as a result quickly dropped the 'China' from their impressed mark. Around 1903 a group of Aller Vale potters from southern Devon took over, renaming the business Longpark Pottery Co. Ltd.
This lovely antique vase by Longpark pottery features daffodils and earth tones of green, gold, and brown. Longpark hallmark can be seen on the underside of the base.
