Details: This beautiful Venetian cheese shaker is a wonderful example of Millefiori with twists of blue, teal, green, and purple.

The highly sought after Millefiori glass making technique, also known as Murrine, translates to "A Thousand Flowers" in Italian. This method stretching back to Roman times was lost until sixteenth century craftsman successfully imitated the process.
