Condition: Excellent pre-owned vintage condition. One blue transfer plate with a small rim chip. No cracks or crazing. Please see photos.
Details: Vintage porcelain set of six dinner plates by Spode in the "Trade Winds" blue pattern and one in the "Trade Winds" red. First introduced in 1959-1960, the Trade Winds pattern features transfers of engravings of primarily American ships with their names and dates included in the back stamp of each piece. Many of these engravings were found in the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, Connecticut. The blue color was introduced in 1970.
