Condition: Good pre-owned vintage condition. Both lid and bowl are slightly warped. Lid does fit on bowl. Dents and wear consistent with age and use can be seen throughout. Please see photos. 

Details: Vintage silverplate supreme stand in International Silver Co.'s "Manhattan" pattern, used on the SS United States to serve shrimp cocktail or caviar. Makers marks and marks for US Lines can be found on the bottom. 

Built between 1950 and 1951, the now retired SS United States is the largest ocean liner constructed entirely in the United States, and the fastest ocean liner to cross the Atlantic in either direction. The ship retains the Blue Riband for the highest average speed since her maiden voyage in 1952, and still holds the title today.
