Details: A scalloped plate with a double ruffled edge, feathered gold trim, and pale pink rim. Interior of the plate is ivory with a hand-panted floral design in white, pink and yellow. gold scrolling decoration with moriage throughout the design and on the stamens of flowers. Marked on back in red with a double circle, LIMOGES FRANCE in outer circle, AKCD in center.
A. Klingenberg operated a porcelain factory in Limoges from the 1880s. In 1890, his company merged with Charles Dwenger's decorating studio.
