Condition: Very good vintage condition. One cup has a tiny chip on the rim and a few light utensil marks can be seen on the dinner plates. Any signs of wear are minimal and consistent with age and gentle use. Please see photos.
Details: Trade Winds with pattern number W128 was introduced in 1959/60 and printed in iron red with a gold edge on Spode's Lowestoft shape, designed to imitate Chinese Export porcelain of the 18th century. This later became known as Trade Winds Red after other colors were introduced. One cup in this set bears a newer hallmark than the rest, seen on the underside of each piece.
