Condition: Good pre-owned vintage condition. Cardstock has wear on edges and a surface tear on one side. Eleven of the original needles are missing. Please see photos. 

Details: Incredible surviving piece of history from the SS United States luxury ocean liner. This needle "book" displays a rendering of the ship on the front and back covers opening to reveal 74 Nickle plated rust proof gold eye needles. The graphics advertise the needles as being the "Finest Quality".

Built between 1950 and 1951, the now retired SS United States is the largest ocean liner constructed entirely in the United States, and the fastest ocean liner to cross the Atlantic in either direction. The ship retains the Blue Riband for the highest average speed since her maiden voyage in 1952, and still holds the title today.
