Condition: Excellent. Silk has some very minor warping to the fabric which is consistent with the age of the piece. Gilt frame has little to no signs of wear. Please see photos.
Details: The Good Shepherd is an oil on canvas painting by Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, from c. 1660. It is held in the Prado Museum, in Madrid. This lovely framed silk miniature is a close up print of the boy pictured in the painting where he is seated next to his sheep.
The frame is finished with a bright gilt and green velvet trim.
