Details: Interesting vanity pieces made from polished Mother-of- Pearl. Both pieces are made from two separate matched pieces that are held together by brass frames. Scent bottle appears to have been made to be suspended from a chatelaine, having a chain attached to either side of the bottle at the shoulder that runs through eyelets on either side of the brass stopper cap with a hanging ring looped through it at the top. Three decorative finials hang from brass central frame. A decorative brass neck fitting is attached at the shoulder, with a small cork stopper topped by a crown-shaped cap. The box has a hinged brass frame with curved brass clasp.
