Details: Ornate mid century ormalu box with a French regency feel and deep purple felt lining. Lid has an decorative openwork plate over an iridescent celluloid insert, made to imitate shell. Music box component does not function, but is covered with a velvet lid providing a useful plateau in the corner of the interior.
