Condition: Very good pre-owned antique condition. Some gold loss on all. One has a significant break, professionally repaired early 20th c. Please see photos.
Details: White porcelain display plates with wide magenta rims, gold scrolled inner edge and ivory and gold scalloped outer edge. Magenta rims decorated with sets of three tiny dots and sprigs in gold. Centers decorated with hand-painted scenic views with architecture in the distance. Marked on back in dark red "W .ADAMS & SONS STOKE-UPON-TRENT". Also marked in hand marked brown numerals 7027.
William Adams & Sons began producing porcelain around 1769. The Stoke-upon-Trent factories were closed in 1863. The company was absorbed by Wedgwood in 1966.
