Condition: Excellent pre-owned antique condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. A few very light utensil marks. Stamp is somewhat worn but visible. Please see photos.
Details: Ivory bone china bread plate with an embossed design reminiscent of stylized sea urchin elements with scalloped edge. Pale yellow to cream luster overall, no luster in center. Back of plate is plain, inside foot ring is unglazed. Marked on bottom in black with Belleek's first mark, used between 1863 and 1890. Partial incised mark just visible. Apparently, the Echinus pattern was originated in 1868.
