Details: Figurine of a gentleman in 18th century dress, holding a mandolin on his hip. He wears a white jacket with gold buttons, Dresden porcelain lace collar and cuffs, and purple ribbon cockade at his right shoulder. The mandolin body is propped on his left hip with neck held in his extended left hand. Headstock and possibly one finger are missing. All lace at collar and cuffs are pristine. The base is curved with gold scrolls & flourishes. Marked on the bottom in blue with hand-drawn mark of Aelteste Volksteder Porzellanfabrik, 1915-1934.
