Dimensions:  12 3/4" Tall x 9 1/4" Diameter

Condition:  Fair pre-owned vintage condition.  Minor petal chips on flowers. Tree trunk, ladder, and figures have repairs/chips. Please see photos. 

Details:  Large white porcelain lattice patterned bowl decorated with applied hand-formed flowers & leaves.  Small floral sprigs painted inside. Small cylindrical knob on bottom with metal cap.  Six-inch diameter white porcelain base with upright, shaped and painted to look like a tree trunk.  A ladder is propped against the tree with a young boy standing near the top, hanging on to a branch.  A young girl in a long bustled skirt stands on the base to the left, holding the ladder. Another young girl sits on the base to the right, next to a basket of apples. Base is further decorated with two clusters of hand-formed flowers.  Flared tulip-shaped support at top of trunk is fitted with a metal to receive the compote bowl. Pierced top rim of bowl and bottom rim of base decorated with gold highlights. Marked on bottom of base with Von Schierholz's green mark used after 1930, in addition to black marks " Made in Germany", "Dresden" and "handpainted".
