Condition: Very good. One minor chip to the Tailor's coat ruffle and one minor chip to the tip of the donkey's tail. Please see photos!

Details: Original "Count Brühl's Tailor on a Goat" by Johann-Joachim Kaendler is Meissen's greatest work. This excellent interpretation was created by Sitzendorf of Thuringia, Germany. Crown "S" mark in underglaze blue to base. Wonderful satirical image of a victorian tailor perched upon a goat wearing spectacles. The base is embellished with porcelain applied flowers and gilt trim.
