Details: A young lion cub sitting, head cocked slightly to the right, with right rear foot raised as though scratching his ear. Painted in rust in Herend's classic fish scale pattern, with pale robin's-egg blue on interior of ears. Bottom of raised foot and chest pale rust, fading to white beneath chin. Tail solid rust, its tip resting on the front right paw, muzzle and toes gold. Marked on bottom with Herend's blue mark, as well as a tiny 242.
