Condition: Very good pre-owned condition. Base has a very well-done repair, possibly done when the piece was originally painted. A few small chips in the paint. Please see photos.
Details: Large terracotta amphora handmade and painted in Greece depicting scenes from Mythology on either side including Hercules and the Queen of the Amazons and the birth of Athena from the head of Jupiter. Bottom of vase is signed by the artist and states the piece to be handmade and painted in Greece.
