Condition: Very good. Some very minor, discreet chips to the tips of the flowers/leaves. Male figurine has a manufacturing defect crack to the center bottom of the base. No gold or paint loss on either piece. Please see photos!
Details: In 1872, decorator Carl Thieme founded the Saxon Porcelain Manufactory in Potschappel, a Dresden suburb. This was one of the few Dresden-based companies to manufacture its own porcelain, in addition to decorating blanks from other producers. Both are marked with the blue Dresden stamp on the bottom.
