Details: Dark brown ceramic cookie jar, shaped like a chubby gingerbread man, the head being the lid. Smiling face, "hair", buttons, and clothing trim designed to look like "icing". Dark brown glaze all over with a dripped, mottled cream and brown glaze over shoulders, arms, and right on top of head. Icing or ice cream curlicue on top of lid. Incised on bottom "HULL Crooksville, Ohio Oven Proof USA".
