Condition: Good pre-owned vintage condition. A handful of fleabites/ small chips on the scalloped edges. Small chips on prisms. Chipped edges where hole was drilled for electrifying. Please see photos.
Details: Pair of cranberry cut-to-clear candlesticks with scalloped tops and bottoms. Open, saucer-shaped top with central hole for candle, decorated with swirling leaf cuts, paneled where top saucer meets stem. Stem features alternating coin or oval cuts. Ogee-shaped base of stem has panel cuts. Top saucer is drilled at the scallop intervals to accommodate two-part pendant prisms all around. One scallop interval on each base has a larger rounded opening to allow for electrification. Small chips around one of these rounded openings.
Details: Known as lusters, these pairs of candlesticks with pendant prisms were designed for display on a mantle or shelf. The prisms would refract and amplify the light.
