Eva Englund was a designer and artist who worked in the Swedish glass industry from 1964-1990, after which she became an independent glass artist. She further developed the advanced Graal glass technique which involves encasing a colored layer of glass within another colored layer, then, when the glass has cooled, applying a design through engraving or etching before reheating and blowing it into its final shape.
