Condition: Good to very good vintage condition. Spines darkened, some wear to edges and corners. Colored paste paper on front covers in varying conditions, some nearly perfect, others showing signs of wear. Strong bindings on all books with the exception of a handful of loose pages. Pages are yellowed with minor foxing throughout consistent with age and use with a few few minor tears. Please see photos.
Details: Light green cloth covered hard back books with colorful and beautifully illustrated endpapers. Pages show very minor darkening near edges. Spines on all volumes faded to mid-brown, with titles largely legible. All spines decorated with a silhouette of a child reading under a tree, with a castle in the background clouds. Beautifully illustrated with photographs, color plates, and black and white illustrations by well-known illustrators and artists. Each volume covers a specific topic with appropriate illustrations.
