August Roloff founded his porcelain factory in Munster, Westphalia, Germany on March 19, 1919. While he purchased white goods from other porcelain manufacturers, he also had his own designs manufactured to be decorated at his factory. August Roloff died in 1939 and the factory building in Munster was bombed in 1944, but the company continued to produce into the 1950's.
