Condition: Very good pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Both plates have utensil marks, one plate with heavier marks/wear. Please see photos.
Details: Cream colored earthenware, decorated with pink flowers and buds, green leaves, and brown branches. Mugs have an overall basketweave design with superimposed modelled flowers and leaves. Foot, lip, and handle modelled in green rope design. Mugs marked on bottom with incised Franciscan "F". Plates marked on bottom in black "AN AUTHENTIC HAND DECORATED CLASSIC Franciscan DINNERWARE SAFE IN DISHWASHER OVEN AND MICROWAVE DESERT ROSE MADE IN ENGLAND".
