Details: A large footed punch bowl hand-painted with grapes leaves and vines in shades of greens, umbers, and purples outlined with gold. Foot and interior lip of bowl are painted in a sponged technique in gold over celadon green. Large spray of grapevines, leaves and tendrils stretch across one half of bowl interior. Slightly raised unglazed lip on underside of foot would have fit into a footed porcelain base. Marked on bottom in green with J.P. over L. and FRANCE in a semicircle below. Hand signed in gold A.E.G.
