Dimensions: 27" L x 22" T (33" T x 38" W with frame)
Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition. Canvas has no tears or holes. Frame has some very minor scrapes/chips. Please see photos.
Design Details: A horizontally oriented damp early evening Autumn landscape. Very atmospheric, with a blasted tree in the foreground, a meandering pathway leading through a gate to a distant waterway, and a country woman in the distance carrying kindling for the evening's hearth. Signed in bottom left W. T. Muir., the frame is an elaborate three-tier molded style, finished in gold. Some minor scrapes and plaster chips run down the outer of the right, but do not detract heavily from the overall effect.
