About the artist: Albert Swayhoover, a native of New York City, began his career in art at the New York College at Farmingdale on Long Island and later at the School of Visual Arts. While maintaining a successful career in advertising, he also devoted himself to painting. As demand for his canvases increased, he left advertising in 1966 to focus solely on his craft.
Recognized for his talent, he has received more than 25 awards, including the prestigious Solomon R. Guggenheim Award from the Salmagundi Club of N.Y. His work has been featured in numerous one-man shows in top galleries throughout the United States, as well as museum exhibitions and magazine covers. His paintings can also be found in notable private and corporate collections, including IBM, Chase, CBS, and Raymond James. With the release of limited edition prints and posters, Albert Swayhoover has become one of the most sought-after artists in America, with galleries in Europe now showcasing his work.
