About the artist: Adele Castillo is an award-winning experienced painter from Richmond, Virginia. She is known for capturing the mood and expressions of animals in lively color. Her B.S. in Art Education from Old Dominion University led to 19 years in an art classroom with elementary school children in Virginia Beach. This experience trained her very well for teaching adult students since 2000. She loves sharing her knowledge with her students, encouraging each to find their own path and voice. Adele continues to take limited commission portraits each year.
