Item: Table Lamps (Pair)
Make: Unknown
Age: ca. 1990
Construction: Brass, metal, wood, heavy paper
Dimensions: 36" T x 12" Dia
Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition. Very minor spotting on brass foot, very minor nicks on wood bases.
Design Details: A round, flat bun-style wood base supports a gently sloping brass foot to a tapered hexagonal stem below multiple balusters and an oversized 'candle cup'. Ivory painted metal candle tubes end in small harps with bulb sockets and standard lamp switch. Tapered gold-lined matte black shades focus the light downward, secured by upright brass ring finials. Bases are lined with felt on bottom.
These lamps are sold as a pair, but have very slight variations. The candle tubes are slightly different in diameter, the stem where it joins the foot is slightly different in diameter, and one lamp is about 1/4" taller. When used on different pieces of furniture, the differences would be indiscernible.
