Condition: Good antique condition. Some loss of paint at edges/corners where canvas wraps around stretchers. Very small areas of paint loss near center of image. The canvas is attached with tacks, some of which are missing. Please see photos.
Design Details: A still life of objects against a wall, comprising a cinnabar-red powder box with tasseled lid, a stoppered ewer with pewter handle/neck and foot, a golden-lined bowl and a small bottle, all in front of a round handled platter or tray leaning against wall, The back wall is rendered in shades of olive greens, the bowl and tray appear to be metallic, perhaps brass. The small bottle in the lower right seems to be set apart, almost seen from slightly below. There is a signature in the lower right corner but it's indistinguishable. Due to colors and shapes, there is an Eastern feel to the overall composition.
