Details: Large u-shaped beaded purse, featuring a round central medallion bordered in teal blue, containing a red, yellow, and teal flower. The background of the medallion and the centers of the flowers are filled with bronze-luster seed beads. The body of the bag is covered in iridescent deep blue beads and scattered green sprigs with tiny red "berries". A teal scrolling design with yellow intervals trims the top border of the bag. The beaded bag is sewn to the four-hinged frame with heavy cord in a whip stich. Each quadrant of the frame has a slightly concave top edge, and is decorated with an embossed Egyptian-style design with papyrus blossoms at each end. The frame closes with a kiss clasp at the center. The original white metal chain handle is intact. Inside, remnants of a dark grey silk lining figured in purple and pink are still visible, along with a pink and metallic braid trim.
