Details: This rare and stunning 5pc service offers a striking blend of geometric Art Deco silhouettes and a distinctive Craftsman-style hammered finish. All pieces are hand engraved with a gorgeous script monogram, "E.H.S.".
Produced in the Marshall Field & Co. Craft Shop (Chicago, c. 1907-1925). The coffee pot, creamer, and sugar bowl are all from the "Colonial" pattern, while the tongs are from the "Gothic" pattern, and the tray is simply marked "Hand Hammered" along with the makers mark. These patterns were all designed in the same era as stylistic siblings within the shop. Often mixed, they create a historically cohesive set.
Please note, as photographed that the included tray does not hold the entire set. It is large enough to hold the creamer and sugar bowl, or makes a wonderful tray for treats.
