Langdon Alright was a prominent 20th century industrialist and civic leader from Buffalo, New York. As the son of John J. Albright, the philanthropist behind the world renowned Albright Art Gallery, Langdon was a highly influential figure in his own right, serving as an electrical engineer and Vice President of the Niagara, Lockport & Ontario Power Company. A longtime trustee of the Albright Art Gallery, he was deeply involved in the cultural and industrial evolution of the Niagara Frontier. This cane serves as a personal artifact from one of Buffalo's most storied families.
