Details: The Poole Silver Company was a significant American manufacturer (1892-1971) from Taunton, MA, known for both high-quality sterling silver and silver-plated items like flatware, holloware, and trays. They made Paul Revere reproduction pieces, such as this bowl, primarily in the mid-20th century. This classic, footed bowl named after the American patriot and silversmith is modeled after a "Liberty Bowl" he created for the Sons of Liberty in 1768 to commemorate colonial resistance to British taxes.
This simple yet elegant piece has a script “M” monogram on the front and is marked “STERLING by Poole / 351 / Paul Revere Reproduction” on the bottom.
