Vintage Yellow Murano Glass 9" Footed Fruit Motif Vases, Rigaree Handles

A stunning pair of vintage mid-century Murano art glass footed vases. Standing 9 inches tall, these vibrant pieces feature a brilliant translucent yellow colorway (giallo d'oro) that captures and radiates light beautifully.

Crafted by hand using traditional Italian glassblowing techniques, each vase features an elegant classical urn or amphora silhouette tapering down to a delicate pedestal foot. The sides are accented with intricate, hand-applied clear and blue-tinted rigaree trailing and whimsical applied glass fruit motifs, showcasing the high-level artistry characteristic of mid-20th-century Venetian glass houses.

Height: 9 inches

Width (at widest point including handles): Approx. 5 inches

Good vintage condition. Please note several stress cracks extending from one of the rigaree handles. These cracks are stable. No other damage or notable wear. Glass is exceptionally clear, bright color with no cloudiness or water staining. Please see photos.

Note on Handcrafted Glass: As with all authentic hand-blown art glass, minor natural manufacturing variations such as tiny enclosed air bubbles (seeds) or light pontil marks on the base may be present, which confirm their handcrafted origin.
