Condition Breakdown:
- Cosmetics (Near-Mint): The camera body is in spectacular condition. The black finish is deep and clean, the leatherette is fully intact with no peeling, and the white lettering remains crisp and bright. No major scuffs, dings, or paint loss. Please review the high-resolution photos to see just how well-preserved this piece is.
- Mechanical Function (Perfect): The quiet Copal leaf shutter fires beautifully and crisply across all speeds (from 1 second down to 1/500th, as well as Bulb mode). The aperture and shutter blades are completely clean, snappy, and entirely free of oil or grease.
- Optics (Spotless Viewfinder): The viewing and taking lenses are clean and clear. The ground-glass focusing screen shows some typical light dust and specks expected for its age, but remains very bright, clear, and easy to focus.
- Focus & Film Transport: The large focusing knob turns smoothly and fluidly, moving the front lens panel evenly. The film advance crank moves with crisp, positive engagement.
- Light Meter: Battery compartment is clean and free of corrosion. Please note: Due to not having a replacement battery on hand, the light meter itself is untested, but all mechanical shutter and aperture functions operate flawlessly without a battery. Battery type - EPX13
