WMF Antique Military Theme Silverplate Cigarette or Cigar Bar/Table Lighter

Age: Circa 1880-1889

Construction: Heavy silver over copper 

Dimensions: 4” Diameter x 6 3/4” Tall

Condition: Very nice antique condition. Overall complete including both original light sticks. The wick holder is currently stuck and has not been forced, though it likely only requires minor lubrication to loosen. While it appears functional, the lighter has not been tested and is being sold as is. 

Details: This piece is incredible! This bar/table lighter has a footed ashtray base with three crossed rifles holding a stylized, grenade themed multiple stick cigarette/cigar lighter.

WMF was a world-renowned German company known for its high quality, intricate, and stylish Art Nouveau metalware produced in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. 

While silver plated, WMF pieces from the era are highly collectible due to their exceptional craftsmanship and novelty designs.
