Details: Shallow serving dish with scalloped edges interspersed with gold and decorated with a wreath of pink flowers and green leaves. In the 1860s, Bawo & Dotter was established in New York City with the primary goal of importing porcelain from Limoges. They founded The Elite Works, a porcelain decoration workshop, in Limoges in the 1870s. The manufacturer started making its own porcelain in 1896. Production lasted till 1914 when World War I began and was resumed after the war ended.
