Imperial glass Company began in Bellaire, Ohio in 1901, and would become one of the largest glassware companies in the United States before its closing in 1984. The Double Dutch pattern was part of the Windmill pattern line, that also included two distinct single windmill patterns. Available advertising information suggests that Double Dutch and the Windmill patterns were produced by Imperial between 1911 and 1926.
