Dimensions: 8" T x 6 3/4" W (11 1/2" x 10 1/4" with frame)
Details: Back inscription (in French) reads "A young man portrait by painter Caspar Netscher painted by himself" and is signed by the artist at the bottom. Frame is original with bars that are very roughly hand-cut and contain the original hand-wrought nails.
The original was painted by Caspar Netscher in The Netherlands in 1665 and this copy was likely made by an apprentice from Netscher's time in Bordeaux, France.
