RARE 1895 CIVIL WAR 55TH PENNSYLVANIA INFANTRY REGIMENTAL REUNION RIBBON
DIRECT PROVENANCE TO PRIVATE NOAH LOHR, CO. F — WOUNDED AT THE SIEGE OF PETERSBURG
A scarce, 100% authentic piece of Civil War regimental history. This beautiful silk commemorative ribbon was produced exclusively for veterans attending the "4th Annual Re-Union of the 55th Regiment PA. Vet. Vols." held in Reading, PA, on August 21 and 22, 1895.
HISTORICAL PROVENANCE:
This ribbon belonged directly to Private Noah Lohr (Company F, 55th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry).
- Private Noah Lohr sacrificed his leg due to severe combat wounds suffered along the grueling siege lines at the Battle of Petersburg.
- The center of this exact ribbon features the iconic XVIII Army Corps cloverleaf badge with the regimental number "55" positioned inside a small central heart motif—honoring the specific corps badge the 55th PA wore in combat during the Petersburg and Richmond campaigns.

- Richly detailed printing on a vibrant, light blue/teal silk ribbon.

- Condition: Outstanding preserved condition for fragile 19th-century silk ephemera.
