This machine was manufactured at the legendary Elizabethport, New Jersey factory and has been fully tested. It is exceptionally clean, well-cared for, and runs perfectly smooth right out of the box. Whether you are a dedicated quilter or a vintage collector, this is an incredible, turn-key time capsule piece.
Condition & Performance Details:
- Mechanics: Fully tested and working great. The motor (Cat. 3-120) sounds strong, and the stitching action is smooth and precise.
- Cosmetics: Gorgeous glossy black finish. The classic gold "Egyptian Scroll" decals are exceptionally crisp and structurally intact with very minimal wear.
- Faceplate: Features the highly collectible Art Deco striated chrome faceplate, shiny and free of major pitting.
- Wiring & Cords: Clean and fully intact. No dry-rotting or exposed copper on either the power cords or the original bakelite foot controller.
- Case: Structurally sound and complete. Shows cosmetic wear consistent with age including surface scuffing and minor fraying along the upper corners. Both latches function securely, though one requires holding the slide button down while manually pulling the latch to open.
