This lamp features a beautifully stacked, multi-tiered component construction:
- The Finial: The rare, original matching gold-gilded solid porcelain finial that crowns the top of the lamp to hold the shade.
- The Cap: A decorative fluted porcelain cap sitting directly at the top of the column under the hardware neck.
- The Pedestal: A flared porcelain neck and shoulder pedestal supporting the upper elements.
- The Main Body: The central focal point featuring two highly detailed, three-dimensional putti (cherubs) scaling the fluted flanks to hold a draped green garland wreath.
- The Brass Base: The entire porcelain stack rests securely on a heavy, substantial 5.5-inch octagonal solid brass platform base.
Durable, Solid Construction:
Unlike many Dresden or Capodimonte style pieces that feature ultra-thin, brittle porcelain flowers and leaves prone to chipping, this mold features entirely solid porcelain construction. Every single component—from the finial and cherubs to the decorative swags—is solid, substantial, and robust.

Production History:
The porcelain components were originally cast in the 1920s as a factory-molded lamp assembly, featuring a wire hole at the reverse lower rim of the porcelain base. In the 1950s, during the peak of the Hollywood Regency era, these exquisite antique porcelain components were professionally wired through the bottom and mounted to the heavy 5.5-inch octagonal solid brass platform to provide rock-solid stability for its tall frame.
