A magnificent, oversized dual-purpose statement piece that functions as both a pin/brooch and a pendant necklace.
This piece has incredible visual presence, boasting dramatic, theatrical dimensions and an impressive substantial weight.
Design & Craftsmanship:
  • Central Stone: Features a massive, thick, open-back faceted glass stone in a rich mauve/amethyst color hue. The open-back setting floods the stone with light, showing off immense color depth.
  • Intricate Framework: Surrounded by a glittering halo border of individual oval pink rhinestones. The outer metal framework is beautifully engineered using an intricate, multi-layered coiled link pattern reminiscent of historical chainmail.
  • Engraved Bail: The reverse side of the top bail is exquisitely detailed with deep floral and scrollwork engraving, highlighting the premium quality of the maker.
Material Verification:
XRF tested an confirmed to be a copper and zinc alloy, commonly referred to as high-copper red brass or tombac. This was the exact historical composition used in early 20th-century Bohemian/Czech luxury costume jewelry to emulate the rich patina of gold.
Measurements & Condition:
  • Weight: 57.9 grams (Solid, heavy heirloom feel)
  • Size: 49mm wide x 81mm long (Including the bail loop)
  • Condition: Excellent antique/vintage condition. All perimeter stones are intact and firmly set. The metal shows an exquisite, authentic aged patina and oxidation that gives it deep historical character. The horizontal pin mechanism on the back is fully functional.
