Antique Gilt Bronze Alter/Tabernacle Candlesticks (Pair)

Dimensions: 11 3/4" Tall x 8 3/4" Wide (14 3/4" Tall Including Spike)

Condition: Very good pre-owned antique condition. Minor gold loss throughout. Pointed edge of one candle cup is bent. Please see photos. 

Details: Pair of large antique gilt bronze alter candlesticks. The candlesticks both sit on a tripod base with morphed lion brackets on each foot. Bird and floral motifs surround each base and support the central columns. Most likely made for religious use as there are Coptic/Byzantine crosses in a repeating pattern on the center column.
