A beautiful, authentic turn-of-the-century antique portrait painting depicting a young woman. This piece perfectly captures the classic elegance of the late 1890s to early 1900s Edwardian era.

Subject: A young woman styled with a traditional pompadour updo, a high ruffle-neck lace collar blouse, and delicate layered necklaces.
Era/Style: 1911. Features beautiful, realistic facial modeling and hand-painted textures typical of the period.
Signature: Visible marking/signature, Hegen/ Heger in the lower-left corner (see photos).

Type: Deep profile, heavy antique wood and plaster frame.
Finish: Ornate gilded/gold finish with exceptional relief carvings featuring intricate floral patterns and classical scrollwork.
Condition Notes: This item is in lovely antique condition. The artwork displays gorgeous color and depth. There are a few areas of minor paint loss and scuffing on the edges of the painting where it shifted in the frame at some point in time. The painting is currently secure in the frame.
