Details: Original "Count Brühl's Tailor on a Goat" by Johann-Joachim Kaendler is Meissen's greatest work. This excellent interpretation was created by Sitzendorf of Thuringia, Germany. Crown "S" mark in underglaze blue to base. Wonderful satirical image of a victorian tailor perched upon a goat wearing spectacles. The base is embellished with porcelain applied flowers and gilt trim.
