Condition: Very good. Both are perfectly round with no bends, dents, or damage. Both have some very minor hairline scratches throughout consistent with age and gentle use. Please see photos.
Details: This simple, understated pair of Art-Deco sterling silver napkin rings by Gorham Silver date back to around 1940. The monogram could easily be buffed out or redone to suit a new owner, however the hand-monogramming from this period just adds to the charm and value of the pair. One set of initials reads “M.H.W.” and the other “L.F.W.”. Both are marked with the Gorham name and hallmark (lion, anchor, & letter G), “STERLING,” and the item model number, “6290” on the interior of the ring.
