Beautiful vintage single-strand Akoya cultured pearl Opera-length necklace from the Imperial Pearl Syndicate. Founded in the early 20th century, Imperial Pearl Syndicate was the premier American importer celebrated for sourcing exceptional, high-luster Japanese saltwater pearls.
The pearls display a classic, bright white-to-silver body color with beautiful, bright reflective luster and a stunning organic orientation.
The strand terminates in a premium solid 14KT White Gold fishhook filigree clasp featuring a tiny accent pearl set directly into the center of the filigree marquise leaf. The flat insert tongue features the Imperial Pearl Syndicate stylized crown maker's mark. The connections feature professional silver-toned French wire (gimp) piping to protect the thread from friction.
